Whenever U2 hit the road, it's bound to be an epic experience. And to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their record, The Joshua Tree, the Dublin rockers are embarking on an international stadium tour.
Kicking off in Vancouver on May 12, they venture throughout North America, finishing July 1 in Cleveland, OH. Then, they take the show to London on July 8. Mumford & Sons, The Lunmineers and OneRepublic will play support on select US dates, which are noted below. Meanwhile, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will be supporting their European leg.
"I don't think we're going to go overboard in reinventing the wheel, but we'll definitely take those aesthetic ideas and kind of update them somewhat," the lead guitarist told Rolling Stone. "This is The Joshua Tree 2017. It's not The Joshua Tree 1986."
